Australian designers are invited to apply for a special edition of the Supper Sessions grant for Sydney Design Week.

Supper Sessions is a grassroots arts funding initiative raising independent grants and opportunities for individuals in the creative industries through fine dining community dinners.

The mission of Supper Sessions is to put funding back in the hands of the creative community in order to champion experimental, critical and timely projects. Functionally these dinners are a way of generating independent funding for creative projects, and implicitly critical as a way of generating conversation about the availability and distribution of resources within the mainstream arts industry. Featuring music, performance and surprise, Supper Sessions is a recurring time for collective joy, community breaking bread and generating support for one another.

Supper Sessions x Sydney Design Week is a special edition Supper Sessions long table dining experience conceived as a hive for community, food, performance and collective support. Supper Sessions x Sydney Design Week will raise a $1000 seed-funding grant for an Australian designer's project.
